Q: I have an all wheel drive can I come?
A: Yes some all wheel drive cars suit some tours, but not all. Generally it’s about
having the right ground clearance. Ask us how to test this yourself at home.
Q: Do I need to have spent lots on accessories like the cars in the 4wd magazines?
A: No, but a few key items will make your trip much more comfortable and safe.
Q: I would like to have a practice run before I go.
A: We run "shakeouts" which are a weekend activity where we will personally
attend and help you decide what you need and perhaps more importantly, don’t need to
take. You will also meet others in the same situation and learn from them!
Q: I’d like to be able to let somebody at home know that I am okay while I’m away?
A: It’s all part of the service. We send an email or text message every day giving details of
where we are and that we are okay, to anyone you nominate. (That’s from anywhere too!)
Q: How many people or cars will be on my tour?
A: The maximum TREK is eight cars and with no more than 12 people. Ideally it is 6 cars with 2 people each.
